The Eat-Cute: School Spirit Barbecue Sauce

Just when you thought you had enough school spirit, and had seen enough school-themed paraphernalia in your campus bookstore...along comes School Spirit Barbecue Sauce!

Oh dear. As you might imagine, I received this jar of UVA-Sanctioned Barbecue Sauce from my parents, the loving folks behind the Mystery Gift Alien Bacteriophage. (The barbecue sauce also came with UVA Salsa and UVA Hot Sauce.)

Well, when life gives you University of Virginia Cavaliers Barbecue Sauce, make Barbecued Pork Chops. It is very easy, just like my 1st year "History of Jazz" final, which somehow fulfilled about 3 different College requirements.

1. Brown the pork.

2. Cover the pork with the barbecue sauce.

3. Bake it at 350 until it is done (the recipe book said 1 hour, but this was unfortunately Past the Point of Well Done).

4. Sing the Good Ol' Song. Wahoo-Wa!

Weekend in Charlottesville

I went to visit my alma mater, the University of Virginia, this weekend. It was the first time I'd been back over 2 years since graduating. Maybe this is just the nostalgia kicking in, but it reminded me of what a great place Charlottesville was to go to school.

I met up with a couple of friends from school to go to the football game against Duke. Let's just say that we think they left all their offensive players back in the locker room, because that's how atrocious it was. While we're at it...check out DontFireAlGroh.com.

But this marching band formation is pretty awesome, dontcha think?
