Another cheap, yet awesome meal

Take this recipe from Epicurious for Shrimp Scampi:

wild-caught medium-sized shrimp - $8
garlic - no more than $.50
wine - no more than $1, i had some leftover
capellini (angel-hair pasta) - no more than $2
parsley - pack is $2, didn't use any more than 50 cents' worth

I already had some olive oil, butter, and s&p on hand. For food for 4 servings I only spent $12 - so that's $3 a plate. Can't beat that with stick.

Not only is it cheap, but it tastes like christmas morning.

The fine print: You will have to peel and devein a POUND of shrimp, individually rinsing and butterflying each little bugger. Time to put on a good CD.
