Early Dismissal

Today I got to relive the "half day", public school style. All non-essential employees where I work were released early because of a big water main break in the county. The pipe that burst was not all that close to where I work or live, though, so I wasn't personally affected. It looked pretty bad on the news though. Even though I wasn't physically impacted by the event, it was still a little crazy to reschedule all the day's appointments at the last minute.

Now that I'm relaxing at home, I'm making some chocolate chip cookies for my dad for Christmas and I'll be packing up later to head back home to VA tomorrow morning.
